Come and join yoga instructor Liz from Mindful Yoga at our Family Yoga class.
This class is designed for families, up to 5 members, 2 years old and up, to take part in a family yoga class.
Family Yoga gives parents, children and siblings a wonderful opportunity to experience a healthy interaction in a class environment that will include appropriate poses for all ages, partner poses, breathing exercises, and relaxation. Prepare to laugh a lot, have story time, explore fun shapes with your kids and increase family bonds.
Yoga helps children to develop body awareness; learn how to use their bodies in a healthy way; manage stress through breathing, awareness, meditation and healthy movement; build concentration; increase their confidence and positive self-image; feel part of a healthy, non-competitive group; and have an alternative to tuning out through constant attachment to electronic devices.
This will initially be a one off class with the hope of putting on more should there be enough interest.
(A minimum of 5 families/children are required for the class to take place)
Please call us at the bakery to register 845-795-5550. Cost is $35 for the whole family. What a great way to spend the afternoon together!
