Ages 5-13 Despite what some may think, Yoga is not just for girls. There’s a reason that major sports teams and athletes, such as The New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles, are incorporating Yoga into their traditionally rigorous training regimens. Did you know that Shaquille O’Neal, a former NBA player, turned to Yoga as a way to help preserve his body for his career?

Yoga helps develop body awareness, increase flexibility, build muscle, feel part of a healthy, noncompetitive group, build self-esteem, manage stress, and increase concentration and focus. All of these benefits have the capability to flow into our boys’ everyday lives, both in the classroom and at home.

This BOYoga Series is created specifically for boys, ages 5 – 13, to come to a judgment-free class, learn to increase flexibility and muscle in both mind and body, which will help in other sports and areas of life. This class will run as a series.
