What’s your favorite part of being a yoga teacher? I like watching the kids learn how to self-regulate, identify their emotions, and exercise their empathy. It’s so great to see a student’s face light up with pride when they do something they didn’t think they could do.
What is the funniest thing you’ve heard during a yoga class? I hear so many funny things in classes and at schools. Instead of “namaste”, I have a student who says “mama-ste and dada-ste.” It’s on purpose to make us smile and it’s very sweet.
If you could travel anywhere, where would it be? I would like to see the northern lights in Iceland or Alaska. Is also like to go back to London.
What is your favorite yoga pose? It changes day-to-day, but I like Shoulder Stand, Pigeon, and Happy Baby.
What are your other hobbies outside of yoga? I like to read and fold origami cranes and jumping frogs.
