What’s your favorite part about being a yoga teacher? My favorite part of being a yoga teacher is supporting the mind/body connection through movement and mindfulness. I especially love teaching kids how to regulate their emotions, enjoy movement, and learn valuable techniques at a young age that they can utilize as they continue to grow and develop in all areas of their life. Plus, it’s so much fun!

What’s the funniest thing you’ve heard in a children’s class? My hair is always up during classes but one time I had just gotten it blown out because I had an event that same night after the classes and a student looked at me, so confused yet so seriously, and asked if I was wearing a wig. It made me laugh that having my hair down was such a drastic change that I looked unrecognizable to this kiddo.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? I would continue to explore Europe!

What’s your favorite yoga pose? My favorite yoga pose is chair pose. Even though it’s super tough, I always feel so strong holding that pose.
